A5 Wagyu Skewers with Fall Harvest Salad
Upscale appetizers are a fantastic way to welcome guests to dinner. A5 Japanese Wagyu makes for a unique small dish that is sure to get everyone excited for what's to come. This appetizer is easily hand-held and guests can taste at their leisure. Serve your skewers with a simple, fall harvest salad and enjoy.
Ingredients
A5 Wagyu Skewers:
- 12 oz. A5 Miyazakigyu Steak Cubes - Premium Loin
- Salt
- Pepper

Fall Harvest Salad
- 1 lb. mixed greens
- ½ apple
- ½ pear
- ¼ cup walnuts
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup olive oil
Instructions
Skewers
- Allow the A5 wagyu steak cubes to defrost in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- Place 4-5 steak cubes on each skewer.
- Salt and pepper each side of the skewer.
- Heat pan thoroughly to medium or medium high heat.
- Sear each side. Note A5 Wagyu will cook quickly, and will likely need less than 1 minute on each side.
- Allow the skewers to rest for at least 5 minutes prior to serving.

Fall Harvest Salad
- Add mixed greens to a large bowl and toss in balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
- Thinly slice ½ apple.
- Dice ½ pear.
- Place apple, pear, walnuts, and cranberries in salad.
- Serve salad chilled.
